Every regulator, every board, and every audit committee is now asking the same question: who inside this organization can actually reason about our AI systems? For most, the honest answer is nobody yet.
That gap is not going to close on its own, and it will not close by handing auditors an engineering textbook. It closes when the people already accountable for these systems are given the concepts in language they can use, tied to decisions they already make.
That is the whole job. Books that read like books and teach like a syllabus, and training that takes people the rest of the way.
